Club Events Calendar 

The Club holds and attends many events throughout the year, from small runs right up to large Public shows. While these events are primarily a chance for everyone to view the vehicles, it should be remembered that any profits realised help raise money for Charity, so you are all more than welcome to come along!

If you are a BOVC member and want to enter your vehicle in an event, then pick your chosen event from the table below and download and print the entry form. (Adobe Acrobat Reader Needed)

Herron Run

12/04/2008

Those taking part in the Heron Run should assemble at Gilbery Fayre restaurant located on the B5 Gilford to Banbridge Road at 10.30am for tea/coffee and scones. From Craigavon go to Gilford and take the Banbridge Road to find the restaurant on the left about 1 mile along. After refreshments it is our plan to meander around the surrounding countryside on a mystery tour that will take us along a scenic route towards our picnic stop in a suitable location. Continuing our mystery tour after our picnic we should arrive at our final destination around 4pm for the end of run meal, our total mileage for the day will be around 45-50 miles.

May Day Run

We will be meeting at The Pheasant Restaurant, Annahilt (see below for directions or contact organiser) for coffee from 10.30am for departure at about 11.30am. On leaving The Pheasant we will be proceeding through Hillsborough/Aghalee and on to the shore of Lough Neagh and then on to Antrim Castle for our picnic lunch. After lunch we will continue through Co. Antrim to our meal stop at Green Island Golf Club. This will be a 3 course carvery meal with a choice of beef, chicken or salmon for main course. Choose on the day.

A ‘Parade of old vehicles’   from the car park of the ‘THE OUTLET’, just off the A1, along a route into Banbridge town centre before finishing with supper at Banbridge Rugby Club in Arderys Lane . 

It is our hope that the event will attract all types of ‘old’ vehicles including motorcycles, commercials, tractors and cars;

Kilbroney 2000 Old Vehicle Rally Saturday 6th September 2008 Rostrevor, Co Down. The Club has it's Stand as usual this year - bring your own eats and refreshments and enjoy the fun and crack among friends we are hoping for a good day's weather. Hope to see you there

Table Quiz Night

It is our intention to arrange a table quiz at the Lisburn Golf Club. We hope to attract teams (tables of 8) drawn from old vehicle clubs in Northern Ireland to take part in a fun evening in which they will have the opportunity of competing against other club teams to uphold the honour of their club. We intend to have, during the evening, a raffle and an auction in which we will be prepared to sell anything (within reason). If you are prepared to make the effort to assist with the organising, make a personal donation, or to seek out people who would be willing to make donations or even help on the night.
