Club Events Calendar 

The Club holds and attends many events throughout the year, from small runs right up to large Public shows. While these events are primarily a chance for everyone to view the vehicles, it should be remembered that any profits realised help raise money for Charity, so you are all more than welcome to come along!

Car Display- Warren Park 23/04/2017  NI Hospice Classic Car Display.
April Club Event 25/04/2017 Club Night - Our April club Night will feature members of the DOE Speed Camera awareness team who will give us a talk on the importance of !! Speed Limits !! and road safety in today’s busy roads environment. They will bring a D.o.E.Road Safety camera van for us to inspect personally.  
Herron Eun 29/04/2017 This will take the form of a visit to Clifton House Belfast,BT15 1ES, a Georgian Building with much interesting history, for 10.30am. This is best approached from the West Link (either direction) and take the city centre ( Clifton Street ) exit. Head downhill towards city centre and keep in far left lane. At first traffic lights turn left and then almost immediately left again ( u turn ) through the gates and up the long drive. In front of the house turn right into the parking area. From here we will head towards Broughshane for a visit to the Waterfowl Park and Broushane House Museum finishing up at Tullyglass House Hotel, Ballymena for their famous 6 course carvery meal.
May Run 06/05/2017  Our starting point for this run will be the car park at the Donard Forest Walk in Newcastle at 11.30 –12noon. If you wish you should bring your own refreshments as none will be provided. We will leave Newcastle, travel through the Mournes and down to the coast road and onwards to Rostrevor, Warrenpoint , Newry and then on to The Four Seasons Hotel, Carlingford for an early evening meal. There will be time to walk or drive around the beautiful 13th Century Carlingford Town.
May Club Meeting 30/05/2017 Club Night- A Night at the Somme Heritage Centre, Newtownards This Museum is located on part of the Clandeboy Estate where Soldiers trained in preparation for the first world war before embarking for France, one of which was my Grandfather. Sadly many of these soldiers never returned home.
Banbridge Cavalcade 02/06/2017  Our Annual Display and Cavalcade will take place at the Outlet Village Banbridge on Friday 2nd June 2017. Entrants can arrive from 5pm onwards. All vehicles will be on display until approximately 7.30pm. They will follow the Old race circuit returning to the Outlet Village for refreshments. All old vehicles are welcome, cars, vans, tractors and motor cycles etc. Last year we had in excess of 300 entrants. This event is sponsored by Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council.
Bronte Run 10/06/2017  Corr’s Corner, Newtownabbey is the starting point for the Bronte Run. From here we take a scenic drive through the East Antrim countryside to Whitehead where we visit the Steam Railway Preservation Society. There will be an opportunity to take a short stroll to visit the sea front and town centre which are both a short distance away. From here we will take a further scenic drive back to Corr’s Corner for our evening meal.
June Club Night 27/06/2017 Club Night- Our June meeting will be a visit to Belfast City Hall hosted by the High Sherrif, Alderman Tom Haire. We will be given a tour of the city hall and have the opportunity to view the recent internal changes made to the building. We will be allowed to park our old vehicles in the courtyard during the duration of our visit. For security purposes it will be necessary to complete an entry form giving details of the vehicle, which will be the only one allowed into the courtyard.
T.T Run 01/07/2017  We will meet for tea/coffee and scones at 10.30am at Woodlawn Garden Centre, 129 Ballynahinch Rd., Carryduff, BT8 8DJ. We will leave at approx. 11.30 for our drive to Comber, Newtownards, and picnic stop at Millisle.  We shall then drive the short distance to The Boys’ Brigade Heritage Museum at Ganaway where there will be an interesting display of Titanic, Belfast and World War II history.  Then following the coastal route to Ballywalter, Ballyhalbert, Portavogie, Cloghy, Portaferry, Kircubbin and Greyabbey.  We hope to finish around 5.00pm for our evening meal at Harrisons Garden Centre, Greyabbey.
July Club Outing 25/07/2017 Club Night- Visit to Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park. Permission has been granted for us to use the park for our July meeting. As this takes place immediately after Rose Week we will have the opportunity to stroll through the rose beds whilst our cars are on display beside Wilmont House. As this is a public park and our access to the parking area passes a children’s play area care should be taken when going up the driveway.  
Stanley Woods Run 12/08/2017 We will meet up at Bannside Presbyterian Church, Castlewellan Road, Banbridge, BT32 4BD at 10am for tea/coffee and scones. We will leave Banbridge and head for a scenic drive through the Mourne Mountains via some of our countries beautiful hidden gems. Following our picnic we wind our way for an evening meal in the Burrendale Hotel on the Castlewellan Road, Newcastle.
August Club Night 29/08/2017 Club Night - A boat trip to Rams Island on Lough Neagh meeting at Texaco Garage,  Airport Road. A26 Ballinderry at  6.30pm  Further Information from Dennis Mitchell 07761398535.  
End of Season Run 09/09/2017 Millbrook lodge Hotel Ballynahinch at 10.30am where tea / coffee an scones will be served leaving here at 12 noon. From here we will travel to Castle Ward for their Heritage Day event. Here we will have a conducted tour of the estate and be able explore the various stalls set up for the day. From here we will travel to the Golf Links Hotel, Newcastle for our evening meal around 5.30pm.
September Club Meeting 26/09/2017 Club Night-details to follow.  
October A G M Club Meeting 31/10/2017  AGM - This will take place at 8pm in Banbridge Rugby Club, Ardery;s Lane, Newry Road, Banbridge. All members are requested to attend this important meeting when the committee for the incoming year will be appointed. Your attendance and involvement in the running of the club would be much appreciated.  
November Club Meeting 28/11/2017 Club Night- Crossle Cars- owner Paul McMorran will be giving a talk.  
Christmas Run 27/12/2017 Starting at the Belmont House Hotel we will travel into Rathfriland, through Hilltown and up through the Spelga Pass and down through the rolling countryside to Kilkeel for our final stop in the Kilmorey Arms, Kilkeel, for our Christmas Lunch at 1.30pm.
